COBAEX RPT is an universal reporting solution delivering various IT systems joint reporting functionality. It works on a basis of Business Intelligence (data warehouse) solutions gathering data from different sources, joining it and allowing to create various reports in a similar way to Pivot Tables.

Data, which is used during the analysis are gathered in a periodical way are connected to become a Data Set. Every set contains fields (columns) which are selectable in an easy and intuitive wizard interface for different metrics (columns) and dimensions (rows and data fields) resulting in a table, that consists chosen information in a aggregated data or listed data form.

COBAEX RPT is working on a data sets much extending (from the size point of view) possibilities of any office software available (sample implementation - over 150 columns, 200 mln records in the source data set). It uses the data to deliver easy access to aggregated data (sum, averages, minimums, maximums etc.), listed data as well as to generate quick charts basing on the reported data.

Every report that has been created, can be saved and published to other system users. Reports are saved in the database in the form of raw data, and are updated once the data set is being updated, which significantly raises the performance of the system. In the same time data from the reports is accessible for third-party connection using the ODBC/JDBC database connections. RPT, as COBAEX platform application is utilizing the COBAEX user management mechanisms, which ensures the data (report) accessibility is limited according to the user competences and company organizational model.

By connecting data from different data sources available as ODBC, JDBC, SOAP (WebServices) connections or flat CSV files, COBAEX RPT delivers robust possibility to report from different, unconnected and non-integrated IT solutions in a company.
